C. H. Wade the Chair man of the Executive Committe called the meeting t6 . order and Secretary A. L. Wilson stated its object. Chairman Wade then called E. W. Hill to act as tem porary chairman and ' W. G. Mebane was made, temporary secretary. The first business tak ei Up was the election of a set of delegates to the State conven tion at Greensboraon next Wed nesday. A. L. Wilson offered a list of names and it wa$ adopted. J. h Duncan moved that: 4he same legation be sent to Goldsoro for the Con gressional convention vbn next Thursday. This was adopted. A. L Wilson offiered the name of.C H. Wade as Chairman of . the County Executive Committee i and he was unanimously elected. A. IiWilsdri wa'. then' unanf- mousiy elected Secretary. C.
